personal trainer2We’ve all been there.  Same routine, same exercises and same schedule over and over, week after week.  What happens then? You start slacking.  Motivation takes a huge hit.  If you think it doesn’t happen to the most fit of us, you would be wrong.  Even trainers need extra motivation from their fellow trainers.

You can take a few different approaches to combat lack of motivation by changing up your routine, taking some different classes or changing your schedule if possible.  But sometimes no matter what you try, it’s just not doing it for you and you need that extra kick in the behind.  That’s when you should seek out another person who can help motivate you and be your biggest fan while helping light that fire under your feet and remind you how much fun working out can be.

personal trainer5A personal trainer can point things out to you that you may not have realized or push you to achieve goals you didn’t think were possible.  And then there’s the personalized approach that you get from the one on one training sessions.  You can ask questions and bounce ideas.  It can be that jump start to a new routine that you need to get you going.  Look for trainers who fit your personality style and the kind who will showcase what they can do before you commit to any expensive packages.

Don’t ever give up.  Keep on finding ways to get excited about working out and eating healthy.  You only have one life and one body.  Treat it well and enjoy what you do.  Good luck!
