Today is a cardio day. Go outside, spring is here and it’s beautiful! Warm up by jogging in place and doing some high knees exercise for a couple of minutes. Stretch your calves, hamstrings and quads very gently and then off you go. Time yourself to make sure you are out there for at least 30 minutes. Don’t think about running. Look around, enjoy the view and soak up the sun! When you are done, take time to stretch really well and make sure you consume a recovery drink to replenish fluids and electrolytes.
