Yes, I eat chicken wings!

Ok, so everyone who is new to healthy eating has a totally wrong impression of what it’s all about.  They think that denying tasty foods and eating only salads is the way it works.  Nothing can be further from the truth.  Many people ask me what is it that I eat everyday and if I have a “cheat” day (you know the day you eat all the forbidden foods).  Incidentally, I will be posting my food schedules in case anyone is interested in specifics.

For one, no I don’t only eat salads!  I eat so much more.  You can’t build muscle and have energy if you are just surviving on salads!  You need your complex carbs and you need your proteins.  You want to know what else you need?  You need to have fun! Yes, food is fuel but food is also a social channel that we all use to celebrate our time with friends and family.  Learn how to let go a little and look forward to your little “cheat” days on special occasions.

And if any of you doubt that I do let my hair down and enjoy the “forbidden” foods, I give you exhibit A.  This is me at a sports bar enjoying some beer and chicken wings.  Yes, yes, it’s all true!
