This is my new blog!

I am so excited to start sharing my health tips, fitness advice, recipes and much, much more.  What does total health look like? Feel like? Do you need to eat nothing but salads if you want to be healthy? Do you need to work out for hours every day if you want to be fit? The answer is No.  And that’s when most people feel lost. What do we do instead? How do we balance it all out? Please join me as I share with you everything I’ve learned about total health.

A little about myself…

I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, avid runner and a motivational coach.  I am married to a wonderful man, a mom of two very active children, juggling work and family like a lot of you out there. My goal is to provide a healthy environment for my family and myself despite all the life pressures and small amount of time we actually have to make it happen.  Along the way I try to teach my children about choosing healthy foods, limiting their treats, importance of physical fitness and a positive state of mind.

How it all started…

I have always been active but my love for physical fitness didn’t begin until I was in high school. In a gym class I ended up being the best at push-ups (for a girl). I even hold a record for the most push-ups (50) in my weight class.   Through the years I’ve had to adjust my health routine to fit my lifestyle and goals.  My education background is in Business Management and Finance but my passion has always been in fitness and healthy eating.
